Rob,
Colin went Tuesday night at 6:10, cold turkey, having never been a goaltender. There was a young instructor "Dave" (I forgot his last name) who was outstanding. Colin will be returning for both sessions next Tuesday, 6:10 and 7:10. Please be sure to say something to "Dave" as he represents your RB clinics at the highest level, he was committed to what he was teaching.

Hi guys,
I just wanted to say thank you for allowing my son Myles to come out there and try out some goalie equipment. He absolutely loved it, had tons of fun and learned a lot working with Coach Ryan for the first time. He was so pumped last night! So, again, thank you, and we would definitely like to do it again.

Hi Rob,
My son attended the mini camp for goalies at Iorio Mon, 7/18 - Wed, 7/20. I just wanted to let you know what a great job I thought the staff did. The combo of position specific instruction & drills with skaters was perfect. He really enjoyed it. I will certainly look into some of your future camps/clinics for him.

I want to thank your goalie staff. They took my daughter Taegan who has only played 3 times to date, under their wing. They made sure she was comfortable and having fun. They showed her the basics. They made sure she was with her correct group. They were patient with her. She had a good experience. Please pass this on to your goalie staff that worked tonight.
Thank you

Hi Ryan,
My son Nicholas has attended the "goalie" clinics offered at 146 in North Smithfield and had the pleasure of working with you. You were such a great instructor/mentor and my son really loved working with you. Nicholas talks all the time about the different techniques you’ve shown him.
Thank you so much!
Regards,

Hey Rob,
Thanks again for an awesome camp. Cody learned a lot and definitely
improved with each session. It was great to see you and Jake
too!
We were wondering if you have any suggestions for Cody next
year. As long as he has the opportunity to play in games,
he’s happy. (He particularly enjoys being goalie which
is incredibly stressful for me!)
Thanks for your help,
Kathy |

I'm going to fit your camp in
for next August. Anthony has done alot of camps the past 2
years. We went to a camp that is very famous and renowned
in the goalie community as I'm sure you know. This camp is
very intense. I as well as Anthony am looking forward to you
teaching my son with the dedication and passion that you have.
I wish I lived closer so that we could do privates. Like I
said the past 2 years Ant has done a bunch of goalie schools,
and nobody has matched your drive, dedication and passion.
You are going to be known as one of the great young goalie
coaches that everyone will seek out. We will be there next
year!
Thanks,
John |

One of your disciples made it….the
Big Goalie Jimmy is part of the Northeast High School Hockey
Showcase. It looks like they may have taken the final 6 goalies
because Jimmy will be playing in the 3rd and final Showcase
for team Massachusetts.
Thanks as always for your efforts in grooming Jimmy to be
a better player. You do a great job!
Sincerely,
A Delighted Dad

FYI, my son, Brian who has played
at NEH for as long as I can remember (he's now a senior in
HS) had a great last season at Foxborough High school. He
was named as a first team Hockomock League All Star, a Sun
Chrionicle first team All Star and was the Foxboro H.S. Varsity
Hockey MVP for the second year in a row. (He also got a Presidential
Scholarship to Roger williams University). Shelley and I credit
a lot of his hockey success to his years at NEH.

Hey Rob, its Charlie. Its great
to hear from you. I'm glad you're doing well and tell everybody
I said hi. I do have to say I had tons of fun at the camp
last year. He taught me a bunch of things I had never seen
before that have helped me improve. I'm definitely trying
to come for a couple weeks this year. Hope to see you soon. |

I wanted to take a minute and
confirm what I told you after the last skills session.
What matters to me is that Bethany enjoys hockey. If any
kid isn’t having fun doing it then why bother. She came
away again after last night with nothing but good things to
say about your coaching. I’ll paraphrase:
1. He takes the time to correct me after every shot / drill.
Not just once or twice out of 20 but 20 out of 20.
2. He gives me the reason for the correction i.e. position
your catching glove this way, it will help you glove the high
shot
3. He made it fun (that’s a big one)
Keep doing what you are doing. She's learning and having
fun doing it.

Dear Rob,
Just a report on Sean Riordan, a NEH graduate who played
4 years of varsity hockey @ Milton High School for Coach Paul
Noonan. Sean is now a freshman @ Boston College enjoying ItraMural
Hockey every week. High Lite of Sean's hockey career was Senior
Year, he was accepted Early Admission to Boston College on
the same day that Coach Noonan told Sean that he would be
playing wing on the Power Play for Milton High! You know which
was more rewarding for a hockey player! NEH is great but Rob
Barletta is THE MAN to these kids and always will be..great
job. Coach Noonan recognized that Sean had some talent and
he could not have had a better high school hockey experience
than he did @ Milton High! Now he is enjoying the sport playing
intramurals for fun. My hats off to you Rob Barletta &
RB Hockey!

I just wanted to drop you a quick line to let you know how
much Ian enjoyed your mini-camp. We've done a few other kinds
of camps, and usually by the third day he's begging to quit
-- this was the first time he's ever been excited to attend
every day. He had a lot of fun, and he learned a lot. He's
already talking about attending another one, so we'll keep
checking the website for future camps. Thanks again!

Hi Rob
Thank you for getting back to me. My 9yr old, Michael, did
the mini camp last week and had a blast. You won him over.
He wants us to bring him to some Tues night skills sessions
which he previously felt intimidated about going to.
Thanks again

My son is AJ, he goes on Thursday's Learn to Play (as a walk-on),
and went to your December Mini Camp. He turned 6 in November.
The Mini-Camp was great and worth every penny. You and your
coaches do a great job with the kids.
Thanks,
Roger |

Rob -
I think you know this but you hire great people - and then
put them with kids in the right age groups - I am always concerned
that Andrews first experience with anything be positive -
and boy was it with his first weeklong hockey camp - he keeps
talking about everything you did, even the lunch with the
"giant chicken nugget" - I forget his name but the
coach that worked with Andrew (he worked at the rink in nh)
came up to me on monday and said - ya know he can do whatever
we ask him - but is it ok if I push him because he likes to
take breaks but will improve dramatically if we push him -
I of course said to push him as hard as he thinks - I think
he finished yesterday very strong - most other camps would
have let him just cruise through - I really appreciate the
fact that you and your coaches can read kids and get the most
out of them. And if you want proof that what you do works
- look at Jacqueline she is so much better - and she has a
blast at your camps with you Dennis and the women coaches
- She is talking about back to back weeks of overnite camp
next summer (good luck to you) - that more than anything tells
me we collectively are doing things right.
